My Story

Hi, throughout the latter part of September I am taking part in the Cystic Fibrosis Trust's (CFT) Ride for Research.

COVID-19 has hit the CF community hard and has challenged it like never before. There has been a huge demand for the CFT's services, which comes at a time when it's dealing with a substantial drop in income due to the cancellation of the fundraising events it is so reliant on. This has led to the CFT making really tough choices about which projects it can support, including funding ground-breaking research.

So, to help raise awareness and money for the CFT, I have set myself the challenge of cycling 100 km over the remaining days of September. Along the way, I will be joined by other family members, including a very young CF warrior who I would like to consider as a fellow bike enthusiast!

The money you donate will help the CFT continue its vital work to ensure a future where people with CF can live a life unlimited by cystic fibrosis.
