My Story
My darling daughter Hope was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when she was 3 weeks old. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic condition affecting many systems in the body but predominantly the lungs. People with cystic fibrosis have to work hard every day to maintain their health - something many of us take for granted.
Devastatingly cystic fibrosis is still considered a life limiting illness but I am determined it won't be for my girl. I intend to do everything to ensure her life is as full and long as possible. Raising money for the CF trust can help fund research and breakthrough treatments, and possibly even a cure one day.
Since my baby was 3 weeks old she's had to do physio every single day and will for the rest of her life. For 1 month until 17 June, I will be uniting with CF Mama's in daily exercise to support Cystic Fibrosis Trust and all our children who have cystic fibrosis.
